The Law of Attraction only works if you believe in subjective reality (what else is there?). Subjective reality states that the world lives inside your head, and not the other way around. You CREATE the world. I would further that by saying we CO-CREATE our world (more on this later). Now you might INSIST that we live in an objective world, and to that I would say-prove it. Prove to me that I REALLY exist. Sure you could come over to my house and see me working on this blog, so I exist in that moment in your reality. Did I exist before that? You can't say either way. Subjective reality states that whatever is within your consciousness and awareness exists. Anything outside-doesn't. Even your thoughts this very second are WITHIN your greater consciousness.

So what is YOUR role in this Reality?

Think of your identity as an avatar in a simulated game. This world is Sim City. For all those who are not familiar, Sim city is a game where you get to create an entire city, and the character that resides in it. Your greater consciousness is controlling your avatar (or your role) in this life. It is my belief that you chose exactly who you wanted to be in this life. You chose the character-blonde or brunette, short or tall, big family or orphan, and the list goes on and on. You chose this character because it best enables you to learn the lessons you wished to learn. You also chose conditions, but as your higher self is constantly connected to your avatar, you can always choose to take a different path at any time. This is the fundamental basis of the law of attraction.

There is No Outside-

What this means is that every person, thing, and animal is a projection of yourself. There is no OUT THERE. What this means is that without realizing it, you have control over all aspects of your life. You have to take full responsibility. Responsibility does not mean blame. There is no blame. The word 'responsible' really means your ABILITY to respond. This has been taken out of context because people think that it means responding to external situations. What it really means is to respond to the internal world of feelings. What if you don't want to believe this? Well, that is fine too, and an 'objective reality' becomes your subjective reality. There is a place for 'objective' reality in subjective reality, but not visa versa. If you appreciate the idea of subjective reality or just want to toy with the idea-read on. So everyone else isn't real?

They are real as long as they exist within your consciousness. They are REAL because they are YOU in the very real sense of the being. The conflict you hold within yourself surfaces in the external world. The love you feel inside is reflected in everyone's loving smiles to you. Roughly translated, everyone is a PIECE of you.

So what about child-abuse, rape, and other malicious things?

Okay brace yourself-they only exist to the extent that you allow them into your reality. Inner imbalance causes outer imbalances. I also believe that we choose certain conditions to take place before we are born so we can learn certain lessons. However, we also have the power to change this at ANY TIME we wish. We are never severed from the 'control room.'

So what does all this mean?

It means that we live in a creative world. Our beliefs have creative power. I use the word 'creative' in its true form-to create. All beliefs are thoughts, and a belief is a rule you created about reality. Your reality is run by your rules-your beliefs, and all beliefs are choices. It means you are responsible for your life and you are the CO-CREATOR of your life.

What does Co-Creator mean?

I believe that our higher self, our consciousness, is connected to the source of all energy. The SOURCE of our own consciousness. Think about it like this Avatar (the role you play)-->Your Real Self /Consciousness(the one controlling the Avatar)-->The Source of your consciousness. Many, including myself, call this consciousness God. The birthplace of all consciousness is also referred to as the source or the universe. You have complete control over all your creations in the world, but your consciousness is guided by this source. In the most SIMPLISTIC form (high emphasis on simplistic)-you make the wishes, and it fulfills your commands. The source is always connected to you, but you also get to choose how connected you are to it. This is why meditation and prayers are so powerful. The more connected you are to the source, the more able you are to 'manipulate' your subjective reality in loving ways.
