It is a well-known fact that a logical and clear mind can take focused and productive action. A confused mind will take confused, unfocused, unproductive action. The situation becomes more ironical because most often we don?t even realize we're confused!
The Universal mind or the mind surrounding you, the mind from which you draw your energies, is constantly and systematically responding to your most dominant emotional thoughts and beliefs. It does not judge the positive or negative energy, but simply responds by delivering like energy. This is the Law of Attraction at work.
Therefore, if we want to achieve our dreams faster we have to get over our confusion and be more focused. This is easier said than done. It is not impossible though because focused questioning has proved to be a great antidote to a confused mind. Focused questions help us clarify what we already know and draw our attention to the gaps in our knowledge.
"Most teachers waste their time by asking questions which are intended to discover what a pupil does not know, whereas the true art of questioning has for its purpose to discover what the pupil knows or is capable of knowing." - Albert Einstein
Focused questioning has come to be known as the Mind-storming processes. It has three basic questions
1. What is the Problem?
2. What Do I Want?
3. How Do I Get What I Want
Set yourself a short time limit like 15 minutes and answer all the questions. Do not judge the feasibility of the answers, just list them all down. Your answers to question 3 may include physically active, mental, emotional, and spiritual solutions.
1. What is the Problem: Be as clear and concise in the statement of the main problem/s you are facing 2. What Do I Want: To come up with a complete answer to this question, increase your awareness of your vibrational, emotional frequency and energize your creative visualizations to fine-tune and sharpen your attraction abilities. Try and identify the energies that are blocking you from attracting the energies you want and try and neutralize them.
To help you in this exercise divide your sheet of paper into 3 and List
1. What do I want
2. What do I not want
3. What is the opposite of what I do not want (listed above)
Again, write down this list fast, not judging the accuracy or feasibility of what you are writing. Now combine your lists in the first and last column. This will give you a much clearer focus on your goal.
3. How Do I Get What I Want: The best way to answer this question is to use the ?Stand on the Shoulders of Giants" process. This is the basis of the fact that there is no need to reinvent the wheel. There are likely to be others who have faced and tackled the problem you are now facing. Rather than try to find a unique solution to your problem, look at the way others have handled the problem before you and follow their path. In your quest to solve your problem, you may easily come up with easier solutions or shortcuts along the way. By all means go ahead and use them, especially if you believe they are going to help you achieve your goal faster and in a more efficient manner.
To get what you want you may want to ask yourself Jim Rohn?s three questions:
1. What could I do?
2. What could I read?
3. Who could I ask?"
Success does not drop into our laps. Nothing worth having comes without a price. Success and the joy of achievement are gained. You need to visualize your problem, figure out the possible solution and then act.
